Turnout is going to be very key tomorrow in South Carolina. The forecasts are not too good. Here's a sample (forecast from the National Weather Service:
Greenville:
Saturday: Periods of snow, mainly before 1pm. High near 39. North wind between 5 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Anderson:
Saturday: Periods of snow before 10am, then periods of rain and snow between 10am and 1pm, then snow likely after 1pm. High near 39. Northwest wind between 3 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
Clemson:
Saturday: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Northwest wind between 3 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Aiken:
Saturday: Periods of rain, mixing with snow after noon. High near 41. North wind between 7 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Sumter:
Saturday: Periods of rain, mixing with snow after noon. High near 42. North wind between 7 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Columbia:
Saturday: Periods of rain, mixing with snow after noon. High near 41. North wind between 6 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Darlington:
Saturday: Periods of rain, mainly after 9am. High near 43. North wind between 6 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Beaufort:
Saturday: Periods of rain. Patchy fog before 1pm. High near 48. North wind between 9 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.
Charleston,
Saturday: Periods of rain. Patchy fog before 1pm. High near 49. North northeast wind between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.
Myrtle Beach:
Saturday: Periods of rain, mainly after 9am. High near 48. North wind between 7 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Case in point is that the weather is not going to be good. However the weather will be better downstate compared to the upstate (where they are expecting some snow). Prayer is definitely needed for tomorrow. The Upstate is where a lot of Huck's support is. The need to turn out in droves for us to have a good shot at winning SC tomorrow night when the returns come in.
I'll definitely be praying.
