HUCKSARMY.COM VOWS TO LAUNCH SURGE FOR HUCKABEE
14,000 online volunteers move into action for Florida, Super Tuesday

HOUSTON — Leaders for the largest online grassroots movement to elect Gov. Mike Huckabee have pledged to launch an online surge to win the critical electoral battles in Florida and on Super Tuesday.

“We are going to launch an all out assault over the next few weeks to mobilize voters in Florida and the Super Tuesday states to win Huckabee critical delegates,” said Brett Harris, co-founder of Hucksarmy.com.

Huckabee currently is second in the delegate race, with 40 pledged for his campaign. Gov. Mitt Romney has 59 delegates, and Sen. John McCain has 36.

The surge will incorporate the traditional grassroots efforts that helped propel Huckabee to his first place finish in Iowa and his close second in South Carolina. In addition, the surge front these addition initiatives:

• OPERATION CARAVAN: Members of HucksArmy.com will caravan to Florida to put boots on the ground and campaign for Gov. Huckabee. For more information of the caravans, visit the discussion forum on HucksArmy.com.

• SPECIAL FORCES at SAVE08.org: Working with sister site Save08.org, HucksArmy special forces will be collecting names and counties of people pledged to vote for Gov. Huckabee. HucksArmy is encouraging supporters to become JOHN HANCOCKS by boldly signing their names in support of Gov. Huckabee.

• OPERATION MEDIA VOICE: Former Arkansas journalist Lucas Roebuck has signed up with HucksArmy.com to direct public affairs. He will coordinate a media relations campaign to highlight Gov. Huckabee’s conservative record and publicize the grassroots efforts of HucksArmy.com.
