About 20 minutes ago they called South Carolina for the honerable Senator John McCain. Congrats to him. He ran a great and positive campaign.
I'm going to be quite honest. I am hurting tonight. My heart hurts tonight. It won't feel any better in the morning either. After tons of man hours by hundreds of selfless volunteers we came up short tonight. We worked so hard together and gave it all we had. As Mike just said "We left it all on the playing field."
There is a choice that needs to be made but there really isn't one if you think about it. For months we have spent money, time, and emotion in tis race. We must finish. We start again tomorrow. I'm in this until the very end. I know deep in my heart that this will end at the White House. Whether it ends next January, or 4-8 years from now I'm in this fight until we have met our goal and followed that dream!
Remember it took many tries for Ronald Regan to catch on. We are just starting that battle. We are building that new coalition. WE WILL PREVIAL!!
I know some of you reading me tonight may say I'm spinning my wheels. I don't care. I know deep in my heart in what I beleive in. I stand for what I believe in no matter what the odds. If you don't than it ain't worth fighting. This process is not done. this isn't over. Tomorrow the sun will rise again like it did this morning. The sky is not falling. It's not the end of the world. You can choose to stop fighting and give up. Your decision is your perogative. I have made mine.
More on this tomorrow.

BD... keep up the good fight. You are right, 4 or 8 years from now might be Mike's time. BUT!!! In the meantime, I think we need to consider this: http://snipr.com/wewantedmike
