Chuck Norris Taking His Support To The Next Level!

I shouldn't have been surprised but I still was when I got an e-mail and the sender was famous Hollywood actor, Chuck Norris. Yes I already knew about his endorsement of Mike Huckabee. I just didn't expect him to send campaign e-mails. Well that changed today. Way to go Chuck!!

Fact: Mike Huckabee is my choice for President of the United States.

While I like and know many of the Republicans running for President, Mike Huckabee is the best person for the job.

Mike hasn't lived an isolated, out-of-touch life like so many politicians. He was raised by his Dad who was a firefighter and always had a second job to make ends meet. Mike and his sister grew up poor, not privileged. Mike worked two jobs in college and graduated in two-and-a-half years. He is an outdoorsman too – an avid fisherman, hunter and a long-time member of the NRA.

Mike is a committed husband and father. He has always prioritized his family before politics. His wife, two sons and daughter speak his highest praise.

Mike has a heart for helping others and will fight for the causes of the citizens of this country. He is known for having a compassionate heart, such as helping a young wife endure the trials of spinal cancer to aiding the victims of Hurricane Katrina as the governor of Arkansas. Mike genuinely cares for all people and I mean ALL!

Mike doesn't abandon his values for what's expedient. Like our Founding Fathers, he's not afraid to stand up for a Creator and against secularist beliefs. At the same time, he doesn't fear offending Christian leaders who give up their values in pursuit of electing their "team leader" just like everyone else.

Fact: Mike Huckabee needs our help.

The first thing I need you to do today is make a contribution in support of Mike Huckabee's campaign. Whether you contribute $1(a buck for Huck!), $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $100, $500, $1,000 or the maximum contribution of $2,300, Mike's campaign has a proven track record of investing it wisely.

The second thing I need you to do today is ask at least one friend to make a contribution to Mike's campaign. If everyone reading this email picked up the phone or sent out an email to their friends and asked them to make a contribution to Mike's campaign and then followed up with them to make certain they had, Mike Huckabee will have enough money to win. Mike has already proven that he doesn't need to raise a lot of money to be successful but we need to make certain we help him hit his fundraising goals. Everyone needs to dig deeper in support of Mike.

The third and final thing I need you to do today is to tell your friends and family members that aren't able to contribute at this time to Mike's campaign to at least sign up for his email updates. Mike's stand on the issues is thoughtful and considered. He is truly the best candidate running for President and someone I think everyone should support.

Fact: Working together on Mike's behalf we can make a great difference.

Make your contribution in support of Mike's campaign today, ask at least one friend to do so also and then encourage your friends and family to sign up for Mike's email updates.

Let me close by saying I recently had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with Governor Huckabee and I can say with complete certainty that Mike is mentally and physically up to the challenge. Over the next two months he is going to need our help to win this race. I will check back with you again in a few weeks to tell you a little more about why I am supporting Mike Huckabee. In the meantime, help me support him today with a contribution of whatever amount you can afford. I am doing the three things I am asking you to do, so please do the same.

Thank you for your time and your support of Mike Huckabee.

NRLC Defiantly Sells Out Its Principles, Endorses Fred!

WARNING RANT AHEAD - i AM LIVID!!

First of all if you have been reading my posts you will note where I stand. I am an Independent voter. I am a Fiscal Conservative and do not consider myself a Social Conservative. In fact I am downright Libertarian in my views on such things as abortion and gay marriage. However I cannot ignore blatant hypocrisy and that is exactly what i see this morning.

Yesterday it was leaked that the National Right to Life Commitee would endorse Former Tennessee Senator, and actor, Fred Thompson. As you can see below this did not sit well with me or anyone else supporting Mike Huckabee. Based on what I have read and heard this set off an explosion and a deluge of calls, faxes, and e-mails to both the national committee and the state offices of the NRLC. In fact they had to stay up all night to field the calls at the national headquarters. There is no doubt in my mind that Romney people were also flooding them as well.

Despite all of that the NRLC went through with the endorsement this morning. I am so angry I can hardly see straight.
It's the blatant hypocrisy that angers me! I disagree with Mike Huckabee on the issue in question. However it doesn't take much work to figure out who most closely shares the NRLC's principles - That candidate is Mike Huckabee. Rudy is pro-choice and proud of it. Mitt Romney offers more flip-flops on the issue than the International House of Pancakes! And then there is Fred Thompson. How can a pro-life group endorse someone who lobbied for Planned Parenthood of all Political Action Groups? Governor Mike Huckabee is pro-life now, he was pro-life 15 years ago, and he'll be pro-life 15 years from now! His convictions and principles are clear and deep rooted. The fact that the NRLC and other Social Conservative leaders have chose to ignore this is egregious to me!

The NRLC has sold out to someone who they feel is more electable. THIS ELECTION CANNOT BE ABOUT ELECTABILITY!!! Let's get over the Hilary Clinton thing. The Senator from New York is done. It's over for her. She's now free-falling with no signs of stopping. She is the Howard Dean of 2008. Even if she does regain her footing we should not be making our choice about who can beat her. When we make a choice like that we lose. Look at the Dems in 2004. They made their choice based on who could defeat George Bush. They failed! We'll fail too if we fall in the same trap. We must make our choice for a man with deep convictions, big ideas, and a new direction to take our nation back to being "the beacon on a hill" that Ronald Regan spoke of and accomplished. There's only one candidate out there that can do that and that is Governor Mike Huckabee!

Thanks to Brett who has shared this graph with me and I will share it with you below:

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The graph above clearly shows the direction that both the Huckabee (in Red) and Thompson (In Blue) campaigns are going. The data is from the Rasmussen GOP Daily Tracking Poll since October. You can clearly see that Huckabee is rising and Thompson is falling (both at a steady rate)

Congratulations NRLC! Way to go! You've deemed yourself irrelevant to the process. You will lose money and tons of members in the process. Let's see what happens when Fred continues to tank. Will you stay aboard the Titanic as it sinks or will you show your hypocritical ways and change sides?

Okay...I need to go take a walk. Phew!

URGENT CALL TO ACTION!!!

Thanks to Huck's Army for passing this along. Hopefully we can turn the tide!

Attention Troops:

Several news outlets (e.g. Fox News, the Politico, National Review Online) are reporting right now that TOMORROW the National Right to Life Committee plans to endorse Fred Thompson.

We can change this, because it makes absolutely no sense for the most significant prolife organization in the country to endorse a former lawyer who worked for Planned Parenthood lobbyists who just last week said to Tim Russert on national TV

"In his first question on abortion, Russert asked Thompson whether, as a candidate, he could run on the 2004 Republican platform that endorsed a ''human life'' constitutional amendment banning all abortions. ''No,'' Thompson replied, suddenly monosyllabic. ''You would not?'' ''No,'' said Thompson, adding ''that's been my position the entire time I've been in politics.''

In fact, every Republican platform starting in 1980 has endorsed such an amendment and every Republican candidate has been able to run on it.

Fred Thompson especially makes no sense for them since Huckabee, the lifelong strongest prolife candidate, is in the middle of a surge and has surpassed Thompson's stagnating/sinking polls in both Iowa and New Hampshire!
Here is a link to the CBN article regarding this.

...and let them know what the consequences will be for future support of this prolife group and that you will pass on your consternation to many others influential in the evangelical and GOP/prolife world... there are many other prolife organizations in this country to give our time, money, and support to if this kind of insider politics is going to be their modus operandi.

God bless,

Happy Veterans Day!

Good afternoon!

So nice to see you after all these days! I wanted to post today with a special Thank You to everyone who is serving in our military and whoever who has served. You have earned my eternal thanks and gratitude. Thank you for your service to our great Nation! It is because of you that I can blog here today! THANKS!

Sorry for being so busy. I am working on a website for a friend of mine and since I am being paid for it this blog is taking a backseat for the time being. I'll be back, especially if there is big news. In the meantime the Mike Huckabee blog is doing a great job keeping everyone informed on the news each evening. Don't forget to check back each night as they try to post a roundup each evening of the day's activities and news.

Wednesday Morning Update

Good morning all:

Here's an update for this morning.

We've been waiting for a few weeks to find out who Kansas Senator Sam Brownback will endorse. The wait is over. Sam will endorse Arizona Senator John McCain. this is no surprise. At least he will not back Rudy or Mitt. I have more respect for McCain.

What is a surprise is that Pat Robinson has endorsed Rudy! Rudy can have him. He is one of the last people I would want endorsing my campaign if I was running. There is too much baggage there and I think that Pat can be a moonbat at times. I am much more comfortable having Pat endorse Rudy than if he endorsed Huckabee that's for sure.

Speaking of Huck there's new polling in Florida and North Carolina today that has him higher than he has ever been in those states. Granted I have not seen a NC poll before today.

A Campaign Update

Good afternoon!

I know I have not been around in a while but I wanted to post an update. Not posting as regularly doesn't mean I am not paying close attention.

Today there is great news in latest polling: Mike has doubled his support in two weeks, from 5%-10%, in the latest CNN poll and has moved into third place (with 14%) in the latest Rasmussen Daily GOP Tracking poll!

Also remember that huge goal set for the month of December of over 2 Million dollars? I thought that it might be a little daunting by itself. I did not get a chance to say so but the Huckabee camp was receiving my brain transmissions. They have done something that I think is brilliant. The Huckabee campaign has broken down the goal into smaller pieces in a very creative way. They have created an interactive mural that is unveiled tile-by-tile as more money comes in as we inch closer to reaching our November goal. They call the mural "Discover Mike" and i think that is an awesome way to introduce Mike Huckabee to new people during this key month when more and more people are going to visit the website. Not only that but we were sort of sluggish over the first five days of the month. Almost immediately when this initiative began the contributions picked up again because supporters like me want to see the mural be unveiled tile-by-tile.

Are you looking for a great index of Mike Huckabee news stories? Well look no more! Be sure to take a look every so often while I don't have as much time to share it all with you.

Georgia For Huckabee turns GOP 7th District BBQ into a Huckabee Event!

Okay okay so I didn't have as much time as I thought I did to post yesterday. I got busy so sue me! LOL

Last Sunday afternoon there was a BBQ to kickoff the Senatorial reelection campaign of Saxby Chambliss and the reelection campaign of US Rep. Tom Price (GA-7) little northwest of Alpharetta, GA. Late last week Georgia For Huckabee shot off an E-mail to Huckabee supporters and volunteers, like me, to tell us all about it. We would set up a booth. I was not able to attend but my new friends Don Williamson and Lisa Chambers were there. Considering we had organized I expected some other campaigns to have a presence, especially Ron Paul's supporters. That was not the case! In fact Lisa, who put Mike Huckabee stickers on everyone she could find, summed it up on the Huck's Army Forum this way:

Yes, Brian, I was at the event yesterday. Huckabee was the only presidential candidate represented. There were about eight or ten of us Huckabee supporters there spreading the word about Mike Huckabee; and we signed up about a dozen new volunteers at the event.

Don told me over the phone the other evening that someone came up to him and said "Is this a Saxby Chambliss event or a Mike Huckabee event?" Congrats to all who attended represented the Huckabee campaign. Kudos to Joe Dendy and Sam Teasley for giving us the heads up and organizing our effort for the event! Way to go Lisa for your hard work and thanks Don for sharing photos with me.

My life is getting busier

Good morning everyone!

I want to apologize for my complete lack of posting over the past weekend. My life is indeed getting busier. In fact I feel blessed for it. A good friend of mine has blessed me with the opportunity to be the webmaster for his new business. So I am busy setting all that up and will continue to be busy in that regard for the next week. I do have a nice report later today on a GOP campaign event up in the 7th District yesterday that holds some great news for my state's efforts to get Mike a win here! Stay tuned for that. There's also big news on the online grassroots efforts being released today over at the Huck's Army forum and I will share that wtth yo uwhen I find out about it all.

NEW GOAL FOR NOVEMBER!!

HEADS UP EVERYONE!!

Our goal for November has been set for us for the month of November and the bar has been set high! What's the goal? It's one dollar more than what has been raised online in the entire year of 2007, $2,067,521. I'll let the campaign do some talking at this point:

Our new goal is $2,067,521 raised online for the month of November.

The total on the money tracker reflects what we have raised online today. Our November goal is to raise $1 more than we raised online this year. Over the next two weeks we will provide you with new tools to help us reach this goal. Work will be ongoing on the website so we encourage you to visit the campaign blog frequently where we will update you about changes to the website and our progress.

This is a huge challenge for our campaign, however if we work together, we are confident we will reach it!

As of right now for the month of November we stand at $25,537.47. Can we meet the goal? YES WE CAN!!!

October Was A Fantastic Month!

Good morning!

Can you believe it is November 1st already? Wow! But even more impressive is the month that we just had. While we await the next goal let's review. There is no doubt that we feel much better about things today than we did on October 1st, after the end of the 3rd Quarter. Let's review:

-There were two debates and one town hall meeting that Mike Huckabee participated in and he won them all (and maybe a running mate in McCain at the AARP Town Hall meeting in Iowa). The most amazing part of this fact is that by this point the media has cut Mike off at the debates. He has gotten less time to speak but Mike continues to hit it out of the park!

-Every couple of days a new poll comes out showing Mike Huckabee rising either nationally or in a key state.

-Mike Huckabee narrowly finished in 2nd place overall in the FRC straw poll, but won the the onsite voting 5-1!

-I have lost count of the online fundraising goals that the campaign set for us over the past month. However, not one of them was off target. We blasted and obliterated each one of them! We raised more money online than the whole campaign raised in the entire 3rd Quarter alone. Even more amazing is the fact that we did most of that in the last 15 days of the month! No one will be able to say that Mike Huckabee has a money problem anymore with a straight face. The campaign had to bring in extra staff and extra phone lines to handle that demand at the office in Little Rock. There is no doubt that offline donations are surging as well. It's very well possible that Mike raised over 2 million dollars in total this month! I have no idea if we will learn that info at this time but it does not matter. WE HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB!!

October has been a fantastic month and it has and will continue to show in the endorsements that have come and will be coming. Next post is a list of recent endorsements as it has been a little to keep track of them myself. We've done a fantastic last month but it's time to nor rest on our laurels. Let's continue to fight the good fight Huckabee soldiers!
