VIDEO: Sam Brownback at RNC "Yes, We Will!"

There were not many big impressive speeches lined up for the final night of the RNC convention last Thursday.  they were competing with a football game and had planned John McCain's speech to start after the game was over.  There were two speeches I was very impressed with from Thursday night that you probably never saw.  The first of these was by Kansas Senator, Sam Brownback.

Sam was one of the multitude of GOP Candidates for President but he was the third of those to drop out of the race after his campaign eventually lost steam after his disappointing finish at the Iowa Straw Poll.  I don't remember hearing a better speech by him when he was still running for President!  It is rumored that he will run for Governor of Kansas in 2010 and I think he will be an awesome Governor!  In Sam's speech he takes Obama's slogan ("Yes, We Can!"), turns it around,  and runs with it.

Wednesday Morning Update

Good morning all:

Here's an update for this morning.

We've been waiting for a few weeks to find out who Kansas Senator Sam Brownback will endorse. The wait is over. Sam will endorse Arizona Senator John McCain. this is no surprise. At least he will not back Rudy or Mitt. I have more respect for McCain.

What is a surprise is that Pat Robinson has endorsed Rudy! Rudy can have him. He is one of the last people I would want endorsing my campaign if I was running. There is too much baggage there and I think that Pat can be a moonbat at times. I am much more comfortable having Pat endorse Rudy than if he endorsed Huckabee that's for sure.

Speaking of Huck there's new polling in Florida and North Carolina today that has him higher than he has ever been in those states. Granted I have not seen a NC poll before today.

BREAKING - Brownback Dropping Out Tomorrow?

WSB Radio in Atlanta is reporting that Sam Brownback may be dropping out of the race tomorrow. They are citiing people close to Sam's campaign. Very interesting. More news as it develops.

EDIT - Confirmation of this possibility from the Associated Press
